Sheep in a Shop - Kids & Money

by Katie Cullum

You can find this book at the Searcy Library or the Goff Library in Beebe. It's available for purchase online.  This book is written for children ages 4 and up.

The goal of the books in this series (which includes the Trouble with Money and the Ox-Cart Man, along with a little more about the series in Teaching Money Lessons with Books ) is to help parents talk to their children about money.  This story focuses on two financial concepts - decision making and problem solving.

Synopsis: Sheep go shopping for a birthday present.  Will they have enough money?

Download this Parent Guide to get discussion questions, activities to reinforce, and more information on the financial concepts.

If you don't have the book, you can watch the video below WITH your kids!  Then discuss the ideas from the Parent Guide.
