Northwest Arkansas Beekeeping Short Course

by Jon Zawislak - January 9, 2017

The next "Complete Beekeeping" short course will be offered in Benton County.   Beekeeping is always changing to adapt to new challenges.  These classes are a great introduction for the novice with no experience, as well as a great refresher course for experienced beekeepers, who may learn some new techniques or better understand the behavior of their bees.

This course will consist of three 3-hours class sessions.  Each class will meet on a Monday evenings, 6:00-9:00 p.m. each night, January 23, January 30, and February 6, 2017.  Each class will cover different material, building on information present in previous lessons.  Plan to attend all three classes to learn it all!  In case of bad weather, classes may be rescheduled.

All classes will meet at the Southside Church of Christ, 919 Dixieland Road, in Rogers, Arkansas.

These classes are offered free and are open to the public, but registration is required to ensure sufficient class materials for all participants.  To register, or for more information, contact the Benton County Cooperative Extension Office at (479) 271-1060.
