Guidelines for Joint Arkansas Extension Professional Organizations

The professional organizations work together on several events that benefit their members and Extension.

Below is a chart showing the events and the organization assigned to chair each event. 

JCEP Meeting Responsibilities: Chairing organization arranges transportation for delegates to attend the Joint Council of Extension Professionals (JCEP) meeting.

Policy & Leadership Development Conference (PILD) Responsibilities: The chair will contact the
Office of the Senior Associate VP-Extension to schedule a meeting to discuss the professional development opportunity of PILD. The contact should be made in January before the April meeting.

Resolutions Administrative Meeting: Refer to Professional Organizations Resolution Process for instructions.

State Galaxy Conference Responsibilities: Chair of Galaxy conference planning committee and treasurer of responsible organization serves as treasurer for Galaxy conference. See separate Galaxy handbook for details.

Legislative Event: The Legislative Event will not be conducted unless requested by the Vice President for Agriculture.
