Our Extension employees would not be able to do the job we do helping Arkansans were
it not for the assistance of our dedicated volunteer community. There are many volunteer opportunities within our organization. Whether your interests
include working with kids, your community, or plants and flowers, your local county
Extension office can help you get involved and make a difference. The best part is
that by volunteering, you're learning new skills and expertise while working alongside
our agents and specialists.
4-H Volunteers
All 4-H clubs must have an adult leader. That means our volunteers are crucial to
the success of this amazing youth development program. Coordinating and conducting
local, regional, and state events, some volunteers work one event and others donate
a few hours per week. Each club is required to have two unrelated adult volunteers.
