Arkansas Master Gardener Basic Training
Basic training classes for the Arkansas Master Gardener Program are held in various counties across the state. A minimum of 40 hours of education is given on subjects including annuals, perennials, vines, trees, shrubs, vegetables, fruits and other horticulture related subjects. Classes are a traditional lecture format with teachers and speakers from different areas of the state. Below you will find power point presentations on many of the subject areas covered in the training classes. These presentations can serve as an excellent refresher for new trainees as well as seasoned volunteers.
