Fact Sheet Available for Upcoming Election on Ozark Entertainment District
Voters in Ozark have a special election in November after residents collected enough
voter signatures to put the city's new entertainment district ordinance on the ballot
for citizens to decide.
The Public Policy Center at the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture partnered with the Franklin County Extension Office to produce a fact sheet explaining the referendum.
In this special election, voters are being asked whether they want to keep or repeal the city’s Ordinance 2025-3 that established a permanent entertainment district in Ozark.
- Casting a FOR vote in this election is to keep the ordinance in place.
- Casting an AGAINST vote in this election would repeal the city ordinance and the entertainment district would be canceled.
