National APEX Accelerator Day 2020

by Kim Magee - September 9, 2020

APEX Accelerator day logo with american flagAPEX Accelerator Day is a national campaign designed to celebrate the contracting success of thousands of small businesses that have benefited from training and technical assistance delivered by their local Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APEX Accelerators). The third annual APEX Accelerator Day will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020.

National APEX Accelerator Day will unite the 89 APEX Accelerators in 49 states (plus Guam and Puerto Rico) and the 54,000 clients we serve by sharing small business success stories and the significant economic impact that APEX Accelerator clients have created within our communities. This special day will be celebrated with social media campaigns, public relations initiatives, online and in-person events and more.

Due to the pandemic, the centerpiece of this year’s APEX Accelerator Day activities will be a free webinar open to all our clients, and anyone who is interested in government contracting. It will provide a great introduction for those new to government contracting, as well as helpful tips for more experienced hands.

“I love my APEX Accelerator clients because small business owners are the hardest working, driven group of individuals I know. I manage the Arkansas APEX Accelerator program to help our small businesses owners grow their business as well as our local economy,” said program director Melanie Berman.

Arkansas APEX Accelerator is in the middle of a social media campaign highlighting all our fantastic client success stories as well as featuring our amazing procurement center staff. Make sure you are following us on Facebook so you don’t miss out on any of the FUN.

Follow the hashtag #APEX Acceleratorday on social media to experience our exciting campaign along with activities from around the nation!
