Early Voting Starts Soon for Stone County Jail Sales Tax Election

Early voting starts next week for voters in Stone County in a local election on a proposed bond issue and sales tax.

The two ballot questions appearing on the countywide ballot are part of the county's plan to pay for a new county jail. In Arkansas, a new county sales tax must be approved by the voters.
