Save the Date: 2019 Breakthrough Solutions Conference and Pre-Conference Workshop Set for June 25-26

Circle June 25-26 on your calendar, for that is the date set for the 2019 Arkansas Breakthrough Solutions Conference and Pre-Conference Workshop.

The theme of the conference is: “Creating Connected Communities in the Emerging 21^st Century Economy." We will again meet at the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service headquarters in Little Rock.

The emerging 21^st century economy is digital, it is global, and it is fast. It is also disruptive, and communities, regions, and businesses that were very successful in one era are not necessarily successful in the next era, because the rules for success change with each new era. But it is also loaded with opportunities for communities, regions, and businesses who learn how to harness the forces of change in this new era.

Two-thirds of Arkansas counties lost population in the last census estimate, and 89% of Arkansas counties are not keeping up with the national rate of population growth. This means that the vast majority of Arkansas counties are falling behind – are not taking advantage of the forces of change impacting our state.

The 2019 Breakthrough Solutions Conference and pre-conference workshop will offer insights, strategies, and success stories that equip community leaders to help their communities, regions, and businesses become connected and successful in this new era.  

Connected communities are connected within their community, with other communities, and with the world through a robust web presence and social media. They are also connected with their past, with their present, and their future, through strategies we will be sharing at the conference. So mark your calendars for June 25-26; you won’t want to miss it! More information will be coming out soon.
