Division of Agriculture earns National Agricultural Alumni Development Association awards

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The “Food, Farms and Forests” podcast series tied for first-place in the 2025 National Agricultural Alumni Development Association awards.
Produced by the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, the research arm of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, “Food, Farms and Forests” highlights the organization’s land-grant science and research news. It tied for first in the podcast category with The Ohio State University’s “Buckeyes Abroadcast.”
The University of Arkansas System Division also came away with second place in the short form video category for “Ag is Big in Arkansas,” a one-minute video describing how agriculture powers the state’s economy.
“Our team works hard to highlight the innovative research and discoveries happening at the experiment station,” said Nick Kordsmeier, director of research communications for Division of Agriculture. “I’m thrilled to see their skills and creativity recognized by NAADA.”
The Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, which conducts the teaching land grant mission for the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, won the Alumni Engagement Materials Category for “The Graduate.”
The National Agricultural Alumni Development Association Publications and Projects Competition celebrates outstanding work in communications, alumni engagement student outreach and more.
The awards were presented at NAADA’s June meeting hosted by Purdue University.
