2022 Producer Grant

Want to conduct research on your farm? The Call for Proposals is now available for the 2022 Producer Grant Program! The Producer grants allow farmers to test, on a small scale, an idea, practice or technology to a production or marketing problem, evaluate whether the results sustainably address the problem, and share how those efforts can benefit other farmers. Proposal Deadline: November 12, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST

Amount funded (For a 2-year project): Individual Farmers, $15,000; Farmer Groups, $20,000

2022 On-Farm Research Grant

Have a farmer or rancher you'd like to collaborate with? The Call for Proposals is now available for the 2022 On-Farm Research Grant Program! On-Farm Research grants provide opportunities for ag professionals to work directly with farmers and ranchers to conduct on-farm research projects in sustainable agriculture.
