The opportunities to use computer software in manure management are large and span the range from initial nutrient management planning to documenting the actual manure applications. In some situations users are best served by developing their own electronic forms and spreadsheet calculators. At other times outside resources are appropriate. As with any tool should be used in the selection and use of the software.
