The Power of Connection: Reflections on LeadAR's Inaugural Meeting

by Angelique Cooper, Community Partnerships, Southern Bancorp (LeadAR Class 20) - June 8, 2023

Angelique CooperAngelique Cooper, who works in community partnerships for Southern Bancorp, shares her thoughts about LeadAR Class 20's first seminar:

In just three days, something truly remarkable happened! Our inaugural LeadAR meeting took place last month at the Arkansas 4-H Center, and it exceeded all expectations. The bond that my classmates and I formed in such a short span of time is truly incredible. What makes it even more beautiful is that we all come from diverse backgrounds and have had different experiences, yet we managed to bring out the best in each other.

Class 20 embarked on this experience with great anticipation, eager to learn, grow, and realize our fullest potential. I am filled with gratitude towards our esteemed program leaders and beloved alumni who wholeheartedly embraced us and generously shared their knowledge and insights. With their guidance, I can only imagine the immense growth and learning that await us in the next two years. I am ready and excited for the journey that lies ahead!
