Matt Brown
Matt Brown serves as the Division Chief Financial Officer for the Division of Agriculture. He previously served as the Assistant Director of Operations. He has worked for the Division since July 2017.
Matt is a native of Woodruff County, Arkansas, where his family has been involved in row crop farming interests for several years. Matt is a graduate of Harding University in Searcy, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, and has been a resident of the greater Little Rock area since 2001, where he has served in various financial, accounting, and auditing roles with Arthur Andersen, LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Windstream Corporation, and the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.
Matt has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Arkansas since 2003, and also holds the Certified Auditor (CIA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) designations.
