What Kinds of Farms Are In Miller County

TEXARKANA, Ark. –

Jennifer Caraway, Miller County Agriculture Agent in Texarkana, Arkansas, taught kindergartners from around the area about the different types of farms that are available in Miller County. They met at the Four States Fairground Ag Learning Center.

She taught two sessions reaching approximately 160 youth and 7 adult volunteers/teachers. They discussed dairy, beef, pecan, horticulture, poultry, fruit, etc. Also included was nutrition involved in eating straight from a farm.
