Faulkner County Master Gardener Plant Sale - May 14, 2022

Don't miss the Faulkner County Master Gardener plant sale. Thousands of plants known
to thrive in Central Arkansas will be available to purchase including annuals and
perennials, native plants, pollinator plants, ferns, succulents, grasses, vines, ground
covers, house plants, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, and trees.
Master Gardeners will also be on hand to answer questions and offer advice. Fun learning
activities for children and families.
All proceeds support college scholarships and Faulkner County beautification and gardening
education programs. Parking and admission is free.
Join us May 14, 8am - 2pm, at the Conway Expo Center at 2505 E. Oak St. in Conway.
FCMG Scholarship Online Application
This scholarship assists a Conway, Faulkner, or Perry County resident in pursuing
a degree in a plant science-related field including: agriculture, agricultural business,
agricultural education, botany, forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture/design,
plant science, and turf management in an Arkansas college or university. A scholarship
will be awarded, and additional scholarships may be awarded at the discretion of the
scholarship committee. Over $63,000 in scholarships have been awarded from 2004 to
2021. Previous recipients may reapply. Applications must be completed online by Midnight, March 31, 2022. No late applications will be accepted. If you

Want to learn more about all aspects of horticulture? Interested in applying to be
a Master Gardener? Both online and in-person classes are available. Complete the
online Master Gardener application. Or, print and fill out the Master Gardener application and return to the Faulkner County Extension Office. A Faulkner County Master Gardener
volunteer will contact you.

The Master Gardener volunteer program provides an opportunity for individuals interested
in gardening to learn and serve their communities. You will find Faulkner County
Master Gardeners at work...
doing hands-on gardening
researching specific problems
speaking to groups in local schools and community organizations
responding to garden queries made to the Cooperative Extension Office
planting educational and therapeutic gardens
Faulkner County has 223 Master Gardeners in its program. Members care for 38 projects/committees
around the county, as well as supporting the Faulkner County Extension staff.
The volunteer service and continuing education of the Master Gardener Program enables
the Cooperative Extension Service to provide practical and scientific gardening information
to the citizens of Faulkner County.
