Updated Vines Center website puts out the welcome mat for new visitors

FERNDALE, Ark. – Surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains on a 6.3-acre lake, the Vines Center is miles away from the clamor of the city, but booking your business, team or church group there to refresh and refocus is as close as your laptop or smartphone.
The Vines Center has a new face online, www.thevinescenter.org. The site has new features including online booking, a virtual tour and a guide to the food, services and other conference and retreat amenities available onsite.
“The new site is a reflection of the upgrades we’ve had here at the center,” said Marshall Robertson, Vines Center marketing director. “And we’re ready to show it off to the world.”
And while it’s far from urban, the Vines Center isn’t rustic. The center has just upgraded its 94 air-conditioned rooms, each with private bath. The center also has a state-of-the art, 474-seat theatre with audio-visual services. The center is also digital-friendly, with fiber optic-based Wi-Fi across the meeting and lodging areas. The center also has upgraded food service – including the guest-favorite hot cinnamon rolls.
“The center also offers flexible packages tailored for your group,” Robertson said. “After you take the virtual tour of our offerings, call us to let us book a stellar stay for your group.”
The center has a long track record with corporate clients, hosting the team-building ExCEL program, named best team-building program by the readers of Arkansas Business eight times.
“We’re proud to have hosted groups from Fortune 500 companies to champion high school football teams,” said J.J. Pitman, director of the center. “Our clients keep coming back, because what we do works.”

The Vines Center was opened in 1980, originally created as Arkansas’ home for 4-H activities. The center still serves youth with a full range of educational programs. It is operated by the Arkansas 4-H Foundation.
