Hispanics, Latinos can learn how to start a business in Arkansas

DARDANELLE, Ark. – Hispanic and Latino entrepreneurs can learn how to navigate the legal, regulatory and financial aspects of of starting a business at a free workshop set for June 21 at the Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce.
The workshop, “Starting a Business in Arkansas for Hispanic and Latino Entrepreneurs,” will be presented in Spanish. It opens at 5 p.m. with registration and refreshments and runs 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the chamber office located at 2011 Arkansas Highway 22 in Dardanelle.
“This workshop will present essential steps to start a business, the structures of legal businesses, regulations and licensing, key issues affecting business success and common pitfalls entrepreneurs face,” said Wayne Miller, professor and extension economist for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.
Seating is limited, registration is recommended, but not required. Everyone is welcome. Childcare will be provided.
