FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Upstream Art, the program that transforms hardworking storm drains into colorful water quality education hot spots, is taking applications for its 2015 edition, with the application deadline being Feb. 4.

ALL ABOUT ART -- The Upstream Art project in NW Arkansas is meant to raise awareness of what happens once pollutants get washed down storm drains. This is the logo for the project, in which artists are invited to apply..

“We are once again putting out the call for artists to join us in this joint public works/public education program,” said Jane Maginot, extension program associate-water quality, for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.

Artists interested may download an application from http://nwaupstreamart.com or call 479-444-1755 for more information.
