LITTLE ROCK – 4-H Day at the Capitol is being postponed due to hazardous travel conditions.
The event was set for Tuesday, Feb. 24. A new date has yet to be set.
“We had more then 330 4-H members from around the state who were registered to take part in this event,” said Anne Sortor, who heads the 4-H Youth Development program for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. “With forecast sleet and snow around the state, the safety of our 4-H members, volunteers and staff traveling in to Little Rock is our primary concern.”
