LITTLE ROCK -- Join Steve “Wildman” Wilson for a warmup to the 2014 deer season as he presides over Celebrating the Outdoors, a Nov. 6 chili supper that will raise money to support the 4-H Foundation.
Celebrating the Outdoors will be held at the C.A Vines Arkansas 4-H Center at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20 a person with all the proceeds going to the Arkansas 4-H Foundation. Wilson,
public affairs coordinator for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, hosts the weekly
“Talking Outdoors” television program. The modern gun deer season in Arkansas begins
Nov. 8.
"Deer season is just one of the thousands of reasons Arkansans enjoy the outdoors
and this event being so close to the season start, we couldn't think of a better way
to get ready than inviting Steve ‘Wildman’ Wilson to be our keynote speaker,” said
Jack Boles, executive director of the Arkansas 4-H Foundation.
4-H is youth development program offered through the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.
