Go off road but on course for the 10th annual 4-H Youth & Family 5k Trail Run/Walk

LITTLE ROCK – There are all kinds of races and fun runs for families in Arkansas, but only one gets you up close with nature.

The 10th Annual 4-H Youth & Family 5K Trail Run/Walk starts with registration at 7:30 a.m. and the event at 9 a.m. at the C.A. Vines 4-H Center at 1 Four-H Way in Little Rock on Sat., April 12.

“Our 5-K offers a unique course, one that winds through the woods and open areas of the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center," said Tony Baker, 4-H Center operations manager. “It’s a mostly off-road course with challenging elevation changes and a lot of fun to run or walk.”

Preregistration entry fee for youth is $5 and $15 for adults. The day of the race, entry fees are $10 for youth and $20 for adults.  For more information about the race, contact Tony Baker at tbaker@uada.edu or call 501-821-4444.
