Spring Strawberry Spray Schedule for 2023

The 2023 fruit season in strawberry is coming up on us fast and seems to be getting pushed a bit quicker with this unseasonably warm weather. That means we need to be thinking now about our fungicide spray programs for this spring, and also we need to consider some pre-bloom applications to avoid botrytis crown rot and the buildup of fungal spores which may heavily infect our first viable flowers. The majority of all fruit rot that we see are due to pathogens infecting flowers, which means it is vital to protect these flowers to prevent losses.
