Stone County Extension Service serves over 100 active 4-H youth in a variety of projects depending on the youth's interest such as Food, Agriculture, Livestock, Wildlife, Community Service and many more. The Extension staff and 4-H volunteers support the our clubs and other 4-H activities. Stone County Active 4-H Clubs:
Mountain View Community Project 4-H Club
Leader: Anna Harlan
This club is community service oriented. The club takes a special interest in community service and supporting the county fair through entries of crafts, horticulture and all species of livestock. The club meets monthly, generally at the EHC building.
Ag and Natural Resources 4-H Club
Leaders: Amber Kennon & Brandy Stoltze
This project club dives into all aspects of agriculture and livestock projects with a heavy emphasis on natural resources. This club is enjoys hiking and wildlife education.
Herpel Hill Cooking Club
Leader: Telisha Tinkle
This is a project and community club that meets at the Stone County Extension office monthly. Members get the opportunity to learn about nutrition and food safety, creating recipes, and learn proper cooking skills. Member will also do arts, crafts, community service and other 4-H projects.
Robotics Club
This project club focuses on building robots and explores the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics field. This club meets bi-monthly at the Extension office.
Ben 4-H Club

This club focuses on learning shooting sports safety, proper technique and accuracy.
