Howard County Get Fit Classes Starting Soon
Howard County Extension Get Class Start January 24
Nashville, Ark. – Are you ready to improve your health? Have you decided it is time for you to start exercising regularly? Did you know a regular exercise program can help with weight management, reduce diabetes, and stroke risk, increase energy levels, and improve your overall sense of well-being?
The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture in Howard County is offering a group fitness program, Extension Get Fit, to help adults increase strength, flexibility, and balance. This program uses low weights to improve fitness in a fun and relaxed one-hour class.
Sessions will meet twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 at the Howard County EHC Educational Center in Nashville. The class will be instructed by Jean A. Ince, County Extension Agent, who has been trained to lead the program.
Space is limited, so sign up now by contacting the Howard County Extension Office at 870-845-7517 by January 21. Cost for participating in the program is $20, which includes all sessions and a fitness assessment.
