Howard County 4-H Summer Programs Planned

A number of fun and educational workshops are planned for the summer. These summer programs are a great opportunity to learn more about 4-H and all it has to offer!

Nashville, Ark. – The Howard County 4-H Clubs are very active in our community! Currently Howard County has nine 4-H clubs: Nature Seekers, Sharp Shooters, Show-n-Shine, Teen Leaders, Show Stoppers, Super 4-H’ers, STEM Club, Umpire 4-H Club, and Food Explorers.

A number of fun and educational workshops are planned for the summer. These summer programs are a great opportunity to learn more about 4-H and all it has to offer! A registration fee applies to some of the workshops. You do not have to be a member to attend these workshops, but you must pre-register. This year’s summer programs are listed below.

Howard County 4-H Summer Workshops

  • Hands On Livestock Series: Pigs- May 23, 6:30 pm
  • Archeological Dig- May 31, 10 am-3 pm
  • Hands On Livestock Series: Sheep and Goats- June 6, 10 am
  • Hands On Livestock Series: Cattle- June 8, 6:30 pm
  • Cossatot River- Citizen Science- June 28, 9 am
  • Money Matters Workshop- July 19, 9 am-2 pm
  • Cloverbud Healthy Snack Workshop- August 3, 10:00 am-noon
  • STEM Workshop- August 4, 10 am- noon
  • Photography Workshop- August 10, 10 am- noon
