Howard County 4-H O-Rama
Nashville, Ark. – Howard County 4-H members recently participated in the annual county B-Day O’Rama. B-Day is made up of activities in bait casting, bb/gun safety, and bicycling. 4-H’ers competed in the events in their respective age categories. Participants in each category complete a written test based on their knowledge of the subject. The written test is followed by hands-on competition. These events are part of the annual County O’Rama, in which youth participate for a chance to go to the District O’Rama. Senior age division 4-H members also have an opportunity to go to State O’Rama, held at the U of A in Fayetteville.
If you would like to learn more about 4-H, call the Howard County Extension office at 845-7517. The Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service is an equal opportunity institution.
