Clean and Green

Conventional home cleaners can be harmful to our health and the environment. Of chemicals found in homes, 150 are linked to birth defects, allergies, cancer and psychological abnormalities. Educational presentations, newsletters and fact sheets have been presented to Cleburne County residences on the topic of alternative, homemade cleaners.

Extension Homemakers

The mission of this organization shall be to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of living through continuing education, leadership development, and community service.

 

Master Gardeners

The Master Gardener Program provides training for participants to increase their knowledge on a wide variety of horticultural subjects. In turn, participants volunteer and help others grow by sharing knowledge while providing leadership and service in educational gardening activities with the community.

 

Cleburne County 4-H

Cleburne County has over 300 youth enrolled in 4-H. Cleburne County has various 4-H clubs throughout the county. For more information on Cleburne County 4-H clubs please call our county office.

Community & Economic Development

Cleburne County Extension personnel work with business and community leaders along with local government officials to advance the growth of Cleburne County, residents and economy. The Extension service is available to educate on policy development and ballot issues. Extensions Arkansas Procurement Center helps local business bid on and receive government contracts.
