If you are an aspiring food entrepreneur or have a successful small food processing company, we want to help you and your business become more successful. These resources are  intended to assist you with direct services provided by the Arkansas Food Innovation Center, workshops and information regarding food  processing and starting a new business. 

Services to Entrepreneurs

The Arkansas Food Innovation Center offers various services to residents of Arkansas. Our intent is to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners to grow their businesses and therefore offer many of these services at a low cost. Listed below are some of those services.

pH and Water Activity

We will check the pH (acidity) and Aw (water activity) of your food product to be consistent with FDA regulations. This service is offer at minimal cost. Simply contact Mike Davis, Pilot Plant Manager; 2650 North Young Road; Fayetteville AR 72704. (479/575-3095).

Nutritional Label

We can develop your nutritional label for you. Just tell us what is in the product and the amount and we can generate the nutritional label for $10.

pilot plant

Pilot Plant

Our pilot plant facility has been approved as a commercial kitchen and is available for use by entrepreneurs and small businesses. It is equipped with a variety of pilot scale equipment that include canning, drying, blanching, and extrusion to mention a few.
