The Arkansas Soybean Science Challenge is a science enrichment program open to students in grades 9-12. The Soybean Science Challenge online course addresses key soybean production and agricultural sustainability issues.
The GOAL of the Arkansas Soybean Science Challenge is to engage high-school science students in “real-world” education to support soybean production and agricultural sustainability and to reward scientific inquiry and discovery that supports the Arkansas soybean industry.

As part of the Soybean Science Challenge Arkansas students and teachers have a unique
opportunity to request and obtain soybean seeds applied student research. The seeds,
which are all Arkansas varieties, are being provided by the University of Arkansas
System Division of Agriculture, Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences department seed
breeders at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville.
The Soybean Science Challenge is an educational project funded by the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board to support secondary student scholarship and research to ensure the sustainability of soybean production in Arkansas.
