Cooking for One or Two Program
Does it seem like too much work to prepare a full meal for just one or two? This doesn't
have to be the case.
Nashville, Ark. – Are you eating by yourself tonight? If so, you are not alone. You’re part of a growing trend. Each evening many Americans eat alone. Studies show that the diets of people who dine alone tend to come up short on nutrients.
For many it seems like too much work to prepare a full meal for just one or two. This doesn’t have to be the case. “Cooking for One or Two” will be the focus of this month’s leader training lesson scheduled for Tuesday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. at the EH Center in Nashville.
The training will focus on planning nutritious meals and preparing foods you like that doesn’t feed a crowd. Plus you will have the opportunity to prepare and taste new recipes that you will enjoy.
There is no cost to the program; however, interested persons should pre-register by calling the Extension Office at 870-845-7517. Anyone can attend this program. The Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service is an equal opportunity/equal access/affirmative action institution. If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate or need materials in another format, please contact your County Extension office as soon as possible. Dial 711 for Arkansas Relay.
