Best of the Mediterranean Diet Cooking School

This hands-on workshop will teach you how to prepare new recipes that you can make at home and the basic guidelines of the diet.

Nashville, Ark. – A “Best of the Mediterranean Diet Cooking School” will be offered on Thursday, February 11 at 5:00 p.m. at the EH Center in Nashville. The new dietary guidelines were released earlier this month and suggested including more fruits and vegetables, using healthy oils, limiting sodium and fat, and choosing lean cuts of meat. The Mediterranean Diet follows these guidelines. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to prepare new recipes that you can make at home and the basic guidelines of the diet.

A registration fee of $30 will be charged to cover program supplies. Participants must pre-register by February 5. Call the Extension Office at 870-845-7517. Bring a friend or a spouse and have a great evening learning new cooking techniques, plus learn how to improve your overall health!
