Registration Now Open: 2019 Breakthrough Solutions Conference To Focus On Creating Connected Communities

This notion of connectivity is the focus of the 2019 Breakthrough Solutions Conference, “Creating Connected Communities in the Emerging 21st Century Economy.”

Registration is now open for the June conference in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

The Breakthrough Solutions Conference will offer participants a strategic framework  communities can use to stay connected, grow jobs, attract resources, develop their workforce, and retain residents.

The conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on June 26 at the Four Points Sheraton Midtown.

Keynote speaker Matt Dunne, executive director of Vermont's Center for Rural Innovation, will talk about creating digital ecosystems in rural areas to support entrepreneurs, unleash ideas, and leverage talent. 

Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr. will speak about cultivating unity through the development of community-led action teams. The conference will also explore strategic opportunities in eight priority issue areas.

Ignite presentations will revolve around the most incredible community-focused projects in Arkansas followed by eight concurrent sessions which will address the most promising opportunities for Arkansas communities and regions. Participants will also be able to experience a virtual reality presentation aimed at enhancing tourism marketing.

Participants are also encouraged attend the pre-conference workshop on June 25, “Creating Connected Communities: ARCO in Action,” which will focus on identifying strategic opportunities for a three county region in southwest Arkansas.
