Baxter County Forward Gears Up for Launch Event May 21
The Breakthrough Solutions team has been working Baxter County Forward, a dedicated group of community members and leaders, in a strategic planning process aimed at addressing the major issues facing Baxter County.
After public meetings and community surveys, as well as independent work done by the seven action teams, the group behind Baxter County Forward: The Future is Now is ready to unveil its Action Plan to the public on May 21.
This launch event on Tuesday morning in Mountain Home is the official kick-off and will introduce the strategic plan to the public. This event will also offer ways for community members to become involved if they haven’t already done so. The public is invited to drop by the Shied Building on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home campus at 10 a.m.
This public unveiling follows an April 12 event, where action teams heard from community and economic development experts who are all working to address community-identified issues on a state-wide scale. In anticipation of sharing each plan with Baxter County community members, these experts worked alongside the action teams to offer resources, expertise, and perspective.
