Arkansas APEX Accelerator Welcomes New Team Members

The Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center at the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture has a few new faces. We are excited to introduce our new team members to you.

Tim Hicks (left), our newest Procurement Counselor, joined the APEX Accelerator team in July. Hicks, a veteran, holds a Masters’ degree in Operations Management. Previously he worked with the Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO), a Defense Logistics Agency property acquisition program, and as a procurement officer for the State of Arkansas.

Renae Blackmon (middle), APEX Accelerator’s newest Administrative Specialist, brings her experience in medical administration to the team. She holds an Associate of Arts degree and is pursuing a degree in Mass Communications. She enjoys assisting counselors, staff and clients while providing exceptional service to all.

Liz Russell (right) joined the APEX Accelerator staff as a Procurement Counselor in March. Russell holds an Master of Business Administration degree and has extensive experience assisting small businesses, having worked as a management consultant for the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center and as a small business loan officer for a Small Business Administration microlending program.
