SBA to offer Free HUBZone Webinars

by Debra Garcia - February 6, 2018

HUBZone is a Small Business Administration program for small companies that operate and employ people in Historically Underutilized Business Zones.

Some of the benefits to being HUBZone certified are:

  • Companies are eligible to bid on set-aside contracts limiting the scope of competition to only HUBZone-certified firms.
  • A 10% pricing advantage over competition bidding on the same government contract.
  • All branches of the Federal Government have a 3% HUBZone budgetary target. This means that federal agencies are in constant need of HUBZone qualified firms to perform on contracts to meet these budgetary targets.

If you would like to learn more about HUBZONEs and, find out if your business qualifies for this program, the Small Business Administration will present several webinars in February and March to assist you.
