Updated County Government Finance PowerPoint Presentations Available Online
Overview and Trends of County Finances PowerPoint presentations, which have been updated to include data from 1999 to 2015, are now available online. County governments in Arkansas provide critical services to their citizens. Law enforcement and public safety, court and public records management, waste management, and roads are just a few of the services provided by Arkansas counties. Population growth or decline and changing revenue flows impact the ability of a county to provide, maintain and improve the services demanded by its community members. Our county government finance PowerPoint presentations are a great tool to help you understand how your county generates and spends funds, and how changing economic conditions in your county impacted the services provided between 1999 and 2015. You can also see how your county stacks up against other counties in the state. Each presentation includes 20 maps of Arkansas comparing county-level data for measures like population change, per capita revenue and expenditures, and property tax capacity and effort. A series of 75 PowerPoint Presentations, Overview and Trends of County Finances, 1999-2015, examines the revenue and spending trends of every county in Arkansas.
