APAC Success Story: Sobemo

Sobemo is an online marketing company located in Little Rock. The word Sobemo symbolizes beauty, harmony, perfection, family, love, and responsibility. The company focuses on digital marketing, including social media marketing to grow business for their clients.

Sobemo became an APAC client in April 2017. Thanks to our partners at Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and Small Business Administration (SBA), owner Malia Ford became aware of the services provided by APAC.  

Sobemo recently won their first award for selling iPads to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in the amount of $4,966.

When asked how APAC assisted with her success of being awarded her first contract, Ford’s response was, “Oh my gosh. In so many areas.” Her specifics:

• Understanding the government contract process
• Acronyms
• Legal jargon
• Finding contracts
• Being found by contractors

Ford credits APAC counselor Mary Love for working with her and providing explanations that made the above listed areas easier to understand and maneuver.
