Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center

Helping businesses find and compete for government contracts.

The Arkansas PTAC is part of a nationwide network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) working to help small businesses compete successfully in the government marketplace.

The Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center's mission is to assist Arkansas small businesses to succeed in obtaining government contracts. These contracts stimulate the growth of Arkansas' economy. For over 25 years Arkansas PTAC has assisted Arkansas businesses.

Message from Arkansas PTAC Program Director Melanie Berman:

The COVID-19 virus remains visible in our personal and professional lives. The Arkansas PTAC staff have returned to all three office locations in Little Rock, Bentonville, and Newport. We are open for business, but we are continuing to implement some risk reduction procedures that may impact the way that we interact with our clients. If you would like to meet with a counselor in-person we ask you to make an appointment, this will give us time to reserve a space large enough to also allow for social distancing. All of our counselors provide virtual appointments as well. We will continue to offer a blend of virtual and in-person at various locations across the state throughout our program year.

Contact our staff or find an upcoming training. Note: E-mailing may return a faster response than contacting us by phone. If you are a new client – you must complete a client application prior to scheduling an appointment with a counselor. PTAC services are available to you at no cost, however we must have your expressed consent to receive services per our federal government program terms and conditions.
